1. Why are we migrating to G-workspace?

Our decision to migrate from Office365 to G-workspace are mainly driven by the benefits below:

  1. Simplicity: User-friendly and easy to use with a consistent interface across applications.
  2. Cross-Platform: Works seamlessly across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
  3. Real-Time Collaboration: Strong real-time collaboration features with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  4. Flexible storage Option: Move and assign storage capacity flexible from your workspace storage pool to users and shared drives.
  5. Scalability: Scalable plans that can grow with our business.
  6. Cost-Effective: Generally more affordable for our size compared to Microsoft 365.

2. Google Workspace apps - Office365

The following table shows what functionalities (apps) will be replaced by Google.

Most of the applications are web-based. However, we will show you ways of working how you can make them feel like desktop versions.

3. Migration Plan

To make this change transition as smooth as possible (without loosing a single mail) every user needs to prepare and setup their account in the preparation phase.

Our migration from Office365 to Google Workspace will occur in 3 main phases. The most important part of this process is the email migration, as ensuring a 100% smooth transition without losing any incoming emails will be key. Therefore, we need your full focus 🙂 Please go through the steps carefully.

Key Details:

  1. In Google Workspace, we will continue using the same domain: ahead-nutrition.com as we did in Office365.
  2. Smooth Transition: To avoid losing any emails during this transition, every user must prepare and set up their account during the Preparation phase.
